Ithaca to Rt. 81 North

Rt 81 to Rt. 481 North to NYS Thruway

NYS Thruway East to exit 31

After toll booth, follow Rt. 790 to Rt. 12S

Head South on Rt. 12. (At this point Rts. 12, 5, and 8 join and become what local Utica residents call the "North-South Arterial")

Follow Rt. 12 (the Arterial) for about 4 miles to the Rt. 8 exit

As you come off the exit ramp onto Rt. 8, stay in the right hand lane

Take the Campion Rd. exit (which is about 1/4 miles from where you got on to Rt. 8)

At the traffic light at the end of the exit, turn left onto Campion Rd.

Follow Campion Rd through the next traffic light. This will take you across Genesee St. onto Oxford Rd. GO SLOW at this point.

Turn left onto Mill St. about 50 yards up from the corner of Genesee St. and across the street from the New Hartford Fire Department. You should see a blue and white sign for the recreation center on the left corner in front of the First Baptist Church.

About 50 yards down Mill St., you will see another sign for the recreation center. Turn right into the parking lot.
