IYHA bylaws require that board members have children active in its programs. Unfortunately our president Jon Macey and Chuck Jessop are unable to continue on the board this season because their sons have chosen to focus on activities which don't include hockey. Since joining the board, Jon's worked tirelessly on behalf of the association and as president last year provided strong leadership. We appreciate Chuck's past efforts on behalf of the association! We're pleased to announce that the board has selected Bob Kump to succeed Jon as IYHA president. Bob, who started out the year as treasurer, is committed to the IYHA goals of providing excellent and affordable hockey programs for youth in our community. He will be sending a message about his priorities for the year soon. Taking over as scheduler is Sharon Kasel makhockey@aol.com. Sharon has two boys in the association and has devoted countless hours to her sons teams over the years. We are pleased to have Sharon on the board.
