The Ithaca PeeWee travel hockey team went 4-0 last weekend
at the SilverStick regional tournament in Rome, advancing to January's national
tournament, which will be held in Port Huron, Mich.
Ithaca defeated Camillus 6-1, Brewster 5-3 and Rome 7-0 to advance to the
final. In the final, Ithaca was matched up against Brewster and defeated the
team for the second time in the tournament, 7-1. The PeeWees' record for the
season is 17-3-1.
Team members are: Max Addy, Matt Carpenter, T.J. Cretney, Craig Esposito,
Jess Esposito, A.J. Fiore, Cody Fisk, Colby Gee, Zach Hughes, Kyle Seyler,
Christian Shaw, Ben Shulman, Tyler St. Denis, Conor Stokes, Tyler Trueman, Torin
Varn and Robbie Young.
The team is coached by Earl Carpenter, Tom VanNederneyen, Terry Fisk and
Wayne Stokes
