Ithaca Peewees wins Border Clash
Ithaca's PeeWee UNY hockey team closed out it's season winning three out of four games to capture the Cross Border Clash in Baltimore Ontario. Dillon Shults scored two goals on Friday leading Ithaca to a 5-0 victory over Havelock, Ontario. Tim Bilinski, Mark Thompson and Sam Meyer also chipped in goals in the win. Erin Ferro-Murray scored the winning goal in a sudden death shootout on Saturday after Ithaca skated to a 0-0 tie during regulation against Ajax, Ontario. Ithaca defeated a team from Mississippi in the championship game of the tournament getting goals from Bilinski, Ferro-Murray, Gabe Fox and Christopher Everhart. Austin Moore played outstanding in goal througout the entire tournament as Ithaca finished its season with an overall record of 32-16-4.
