The Ithaca Bantam UNY

Team took first place at the Saratoga Tournament this weekend.  Friday, they tied Camillus 3-3.  Chase Benjamin scored on an assist by Robbie Young.  T.J. Cretney scored on an assist from Benjamin. Ruben Abramov scored on an assist by Elrik McCheyne. 
 
On Saturday, Ithaca beat Greater Lebanon, New Hampshire 5-3.  Benjamin scored twice on assists from Young.  Mark Thompson scored twice on assists from Erin Ferro-Murray and Cretney.  Cretney scored unassisted.  Later, they topped Adirondack 5-3.  Thompson scored twice, assisted by Cretney and Dillon Shults.  Shults scored assisted by Cretney and Ferro-Murray.  Abramov scored on a feed from McCheyne.  Cretney scored on assists from Thompson and Ferro-Murray. 
 
Sunday, Ithaca beat CSB of Burlington, Vermont, 2-0 in the championship game.  Benjamin and Bryan Small scored, both assisted by Shults.  Austin Moore had 20 saves in goal.  Other team members are Jimmy Chiang, Gabe Fox, Ross Grippin, Christian Shaw, Chris Watkins and Bobby Parker.  The team is coached by Larry Young and Tim Cretney.
