2015-2016 Season Registration Info

****Registration is Open!*****

Our 2015-2016 Registration is open. We have formed our travel teams and  are currently registering house and Snowbelt teams for the winter.

***We need your help to determine how many teams we will form. We are allocating ice for one Snowbelt team at each level. If we need to form additional teams we need to know soon. Last season we had to scramble to add game slots at Midgets and had to close registration early at Squirts, this locked out late registrants because we did not have enough ice allocated early enough. Don't get locked out - register early!

A few Key Highlights for the upcoming season:

  • The Initiation Program is Free
  • Our payment option has 5% down now, the remainder over 3 payments
  • Our rates are the same as last season - no change in rates.
  • All practices are in town
  • We are returning to the 12 home slots for each Snowbelt team and 16 for each Travel team

  • The Season will start at the end of October and run through the end of February
  • Initiation will be held at Lynah Rink Saturday and Sunday mornings
  • Mites will be at Cass for one practice and at Lynah on Sunday mornings for games. We will follow the same format as last year.
  • Travel and Snowbelt teams will practice 2x per week at Cass, home games at Cass and a limited (1 or 2) at Cortland
  • We are working on an added skills session during the week

2015-2016 Rates:

Initiation : Free
Mites: $370
Squirt Snowbelt: $710
Squirt Travel:$940
Pee Wee Travel:$1005
Bantam Snowbelt:$795
Bantam Travel:$1090
Midget Snowbelt:$885

IYHA Monday Skills Session Summary

We have set up an extra skills session to be held on Monday nights led by Coach Brian Cheek. This is open for second and third year mites that have a good skating foundation and all players in age groups above. This will provide an optional third night of focused skill development for IYHA members that wish to participate in this program.

This is a little different format than the age specific extra skates IYHA has set up in the past. The goals is to get a more structured skill development program for our members, space will be limited and we many adjust the format as we get players signed up. I have included a brief summary of the program below.

The program will begin on Monday 10/26 and run for 18 weeks
The session will be held 7-8 at Cass Park
