Summer Skates at the Rink: It is a pleasure to announce the details of this summer’s skates being sponsored by IYHA and the Rink. This partnership will continue building on the successful summer skates in the past of drop the puck and play. The partnership with the Rink will offer stream lined administration. There are 5 group skates being offered over 7 week nights by Age Group [Birth Year] below starting on Tuesday, July 7^th and ending on Wednesday, August 19^th.

Pre-Registration Required – No Drop-Ins: If you are going to be away for part of the summer you can pre-register for the number of sessions you plan on attending at a cost of $15 per session. The savings for registering for all sessions is $30 for the Mite and Squirt levels and $20 for all other levels. There will be no drop-ins but the players can choose a number of sessions. Registrations shall take place in advance or at the first session. Registration forms will be available at the Rink or on-line here. Form

Spring Meeting Results

As of March 11th, 2009, IYHA is operating under Amended By-Laws that include a maximum of 2 “Emeritus” Directors. Coaches and any “Emeritus” Directors do not need to parents of current IYHA players. Option A and Option B both passed by the required 2/3 vote of those present. Taking office on June 1st, for a 3 year term are Brian Crane, Peter Dugan and Tim McKinney. Jeff Franzese and Rob Babuka will both start a 1 year term next June. Those continuing on the Board are John Duthie, Rick Hughes, Tom O’Neill, and Rich Uhlig.

Managers and coaches please insure your team’s Jerseys get to the Rink this Saturday. Many thanks go to Ladeen Case for managing Jerseys this year for IYHA.
